In proportion as man learn to revere worthy persons and deeds of the past, he lifts himself towards higher and better things. The Berean Christian Center was birth out of the vision given to our Pastor by GOD whose direction and purpose came forth on Tuesday, October 19th 1999 at 7:00 PM
Our first meeting was held at Abundance Baptist Church 15344 South Lexington Ave. Harvey, Illinois. In which twenty-eight (28) members made it known through unified pray and praise that we would go forward as a church with Pastor Ira J. McDowell as our Leader.
All position were appointed on a
temporary bases until the vision and
purpose was taught and received by
all officers of the church according to
the outline given in the scripture.
We worshiped at Abundance Baptist
Church from October 24, 1999 to May
21, 2000. We relocated to Christ
Church Baptist 12844 South Halsted in
Chicago, were we worshiped from May 28,
2000 to December 26, 2004. The vision
continued as we relocated for one
month to First Christian M.B. Church
523 East 67th Street Chicago, Illinois
from January 2nd to January 30, 2005.
We relocated to Loving Spirit M.B.
Church 424 West 103rd Street Chicago,
Illinois from February 6, 2005 to May
2015. 7940 South Ashland Ave. Chicago, IL 60628 from May 2015 to April 2018. 14720 page Ave. Harvey, IL 60426 from May 2018 to November 2018. 11830 South Wallace Chicago, IL 60628 from November 2018 to December 2018. We moved to 10201 South Parnell Ave. Chicago, IL 60628. from December 2018 - March 2020. Do to the COVID virus, we worshipped for our homes until March of 2021.. We have reach our final destination 15100 S. Page Ave. Harvey, IL 60426 from March 2021 to present. God is still in the blessing business.

My goal as the youth leader is to reach every child to give them the tools they need to become great spiritual leaders, mentally and physically. Also, to help them build a better relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, because its never to early to become a disciple.
